This is pure authentic Underground Pit Oven, Jabin Wrapped Whole Pork Cochinita Pibil; slowly cooked by Ranchef "Gonzo" right at The Rancho, vacuum sealed and frozen same day to preserve taste and nutritional value, then delivered to your door for your enjoyment. 

Pibil in Yucatan, refers to the local Mayan indigenous variation of the method of cooking in a pit or earth oven. It generally refers to slow-cooking whole hog, whole sheep  or whole turkeys in a wood-fired oven "hole dug in the ground", marinated in annatto paste (Achiote) and covered with Jabin Leaves.

Cochinita de Cerdo Pelon:  Slow cooked at the Rancho, in underground pit wood-fired oven, with Jabin leaves.  Shredded and Ready for Tacos, Tortas or Burritos,   The Meat is rubbed with Achiote (Annatto) Paste, Sour Oranges, Herbs and Sea Salt and Wrapped in Jabin Leaves.  Package includes Natural Corn Tortillas, and Wood Fire Bread, made without preservatives and natural ingredients
