Pasture Raised Heritage Pork Lard

Natural Pasture Raised Heritage Pork Lard.  Raised on pasture, eating naturally, without the use of Growth Hormones, GMOs, or Medications.  100% pasture raised pigs that are raised slowly, spending their entire lives in the fields and woods, eating grass, clovers, roots, and local tree leaves.

The Pork Lard: is Copper Kettle-Rendered, handcrafted in small batches, full of Vitamin D, something that most people are lacking in and something that provides a lot of immune system support. If you're not cooking with lard, you should be! Lard is an incredible health food, full of monounsaturated fats - the same kind as found in olive oil.  Animal fats, are critically important for your body to function as it was designed. We produce lard by simply taking the purest fat from the pig, then slowly heat it at low temperatures, then pour through cheesecloth into each container - that's it. Keep a container of lard on your counter so that it's soft and spreadable. You can  use it for all of your cooking, plus even spread it on toast with a little honey or jam. 

All our Pasture Raised Heritage Pork, Cuts and Fats are Harvested and Butchered to Order, Fresh Packaged without Preservatives or Additives in a Vacuum Seal and/or Food Grade Shrink Wrap or containers, depending on size.  Please allow up to 7 days for delivery upon your order.
